Pastured Pork Fresh, Uncured Bacon – approx. 1 lb (4 package minimum). Extra thick slices with plenty of healthy fat, can be pan or oven fried, or added to other dishes for additional flavor. The fresh, uncured bacon comes from the lower side of the hog belly with no spices or smoke added. You can add your own spices and sweeteners for a unique bacon, customized to your own taste and preferences. Since this bacon hasn’t been cured to remove the moisture from the fat, the slower it is cooked, the more crispy the bacon will be. Thick sliced bacon can fry for 15 minutes with medium-low heat.
Our hogs are raised on pasture by small-scale family farmers in Wisconsin. The hogs are fed a glyphosate free ration while roaming fields and woods. No hormones, antibiotics or GMO feed!
